You can send extra lives to your friends, and your friends can send them to you as well. However, the number of extra lives you send has no effect on the number of lives you have. In other words, lives sent to friends are not subtracted from your own lives. You and your friends cannot send and request other game elements: items for unlocking buildings, rubies, boosters, tricks, and puzzles.
