How do I get energy?

Here are a few ways of getting energy in the game:
- Visit the Tavern in the Pirate Capital. Once every 4 hours, you can get pieces of energy. These can be merged for a more powerful effect. Upgrade the Tavern to get more pieces of energy. Furthermore, by upgrading the Hotel, you can increase the maximum amount of energy you can store.
- Complete orders from characters. By tapping on the chef's hat in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen, you can find out more about current orders, and also the resources required to fulfill them.
- While on expeditions, you can come across boxes with energy.
- In the top left-hand corner of the screen, you will sometimes see a button to get energy for watching ads. Also, during expeditions, you can come across a limited number of bottles that offer you the chance to watch an ad and get energy.
Effectively managing your energy is key to successfully playing the game.
